Understanding the Asylum Process
Every situation is different, but most asylum journeys follow these six stages. We support you at every single step.
Safety First
Reach a safe country or a safe location within your current country. This is the immediate priority, before any paperwork or applications. Contact us at any stage of this step.
UNHCR Registration
Register as a Person of Concern with UNHCR if you are outside your home country and in a transit country. This provides immediate legal protection and begins the documentation process. We accompany you.
National Asylum Application
Submit an asylum application in the destination country where you are present. Deadlines and procedures vary by country. We ensure you apply correctly, completely, and within required timeframes.
Asylum Interview
Attend an asylum interview conducted by national authorities. This is the most critical step, how your case is presented can determine everything. We prepare you thoroughly and provide legal representation in 20+ countries.
Decision & Appeal
Receive a decision on your application. If initially rejected, do not give up, we support appeals in all countries. Many successful cases are won on appeal with the right legal representation.
Status & Settlement
Once refugee or protected status is granted, we begin settlement support, housing, employment connections, language programs, school enrollment, banking, and community integration. The journey doesn't end at approval.
